Attorney Jalyn R. Parks is a proud Columbus, Ohio native who has been recognized as a 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Star, an honor that recognizes the top 2.5% of lawyers who have made significant contributions to the legal field.

She has garnered attention from major platforms, including CNN.com, NBC.com, VoyageATL, and The Grio. She was most also honored as a Top 40 Under 40 by the National Black Lawyer’s Association and was recently honored as a HerStory Maker by the Columbus Urban League and a Who’s Who in Columbus, Ohio.

Before launching her legal career, Jalyn built a strong foundation through diverse experiences at boutique law firms, a Fortune 100 company, and within public service roles in the Ohio Legislature and the County Court of Common Pleas. These experiences deeply informed her understanding of public policy and business transactions and shaped her into the versatile and insightful attorney she is today.
Outside of the courtroom, Jalyn is a dynamic creative with a passion for the fashion industry and brand protection. She serves on the board of the Columbus Fashion Council and actively contributes to the Ohio State Bar Association’s Council of Delegates. She most enjoys opportunities to blend her legal expertise and creative spirit to advocate for industry protections and innovation.
