My journey in hair began at the intersection of art and craft. As a life long dancer and visual artist with a bachelors in painting/printmaking, hair became the medium that offered me the greatest expression.
Working with brands like CurlMix, TreLuxe, and Innersense Organic Beauty as an educator, platform artist & editorial stylist, I've consistently pushed the boundaries of how we build more inclusive visual stories related to hair. Beyond technique, my philosophy emphasizes seeing hair as a profound form of creative expression.
For seven years (2017-2024) I traveled the world teaching tight curl cutting while challenging conventional beauty standards and educational systems. I developed curriculums and platforms both digitally and in person that empowered salon professionals to build businesses celebrating the artistry of tight curls and natural textures.
Now, my focus has shifted to transforming beauty education. Through workshops and consulting, I'm guiding professionals to see their work as an art form that requires vision, creativity, and a deep understanding of individual expression.
